Shahid Kapoor’s current devastation in Mausam seems to have brought his rather unusual sense of humour to the fore. Guess he recognized that it would be better to laugh at himself than to think about the terrible outcome of one of his most motivated projects. We have to be delighted that he has stopped taking himself too seriously, since because apparently nobody also was. This is absolutely not a creation of our kinky imagination. It’s Shahid’s peculiar comment on his connection with Ranbir that left us wondering and giggling.
We keep in mind a much quieter and far more self-conscious Shahid alongside a very garrulous Priyanka Chopra during the sponsorships of Kaminey. But the tables appear to have turned now. An amusing Shahid has been keeping the media keeping amused at every Teri Meri Kahaani event, while Priyanka has been taking it simple and letting the elegant dude steal the fame.

Sasha has been coming up with actually amusing oneliners to duck questions on his connection with Priyanka. A talk show host just asked him, “Were you seeing each other during Kaminey?” And the reply came fast: “Yes, Priyanka and I always see each other every morning on the sets of the film!” But with all the fun and games going on, Shahid’s current statement certainly took us by shock. And hold your breath; it was about a certain someone else to whom the Chance Pe Dance star is said to be rather close these days. “Ranbir Kapoor and I are just good friends and Priyanka is my neighbor. I wish it that way and not the other way round!” said Shahid.

Reading between the lines is instant nature to yours in fact, and wickedness is in every gene. And everybody knows that “just good friends” is a phrase that echoes when a B- town couple is trying to hide a blistering hot affair! So even as our horns popped out of our evil heads, we could not oppose the leap that was waiting to be made. Come on, Sasha, anybody would think that something’s brewing between you and the Kapoor young man now! We are not convinced if Ranbir will be happy with your newest exposure about your bond, but we are quite sure that Priyanka will be left wondering why her costars are so involved with each other instead of encouraging her.
