Handbags : Elie Tahari New York Fashion Week spring 2012


Elie Tahari launched his spring/summer 2012 assortment down the New York Fashion Week runway today. The compilation was filled with smooth lines, up to date details and shades of black and gold. The handbags on Elie Tahari’s runway were not big and shown in solid, bright tones as well as color blocking. The firm colored handbags were medium charges and semi-formal in nature. The clutches offered a crease over top and trimmings such as fringe. There were also proper clutches on Elie Tahari’s spring 2012 runway. The formal clutches were black with gold net and offered the appearance and feel of color blocking; a vast trend for spring 2012 in handbags.

The general collection from Elie Tahari for spring/summer 2012 shown during New York Fashion Week was smooth, stylish and simple. The blueprints were soft and nearly tonal. The use of soft fabrics, irregular hems and necklines added a contemporary twist to a eternal assortment.
